I have been very obsessed with beauty product reviews lately. Hence my new posts on such. Being back here in Manila, my beauty and fashion world has quadrupled as I see gorgeous displays everywhere. That's what started my obsession with reviews on blogs and YouTube. I need to know which products are actually any good, which products offers the most for its price, and which are good for my very oily skin.
Having scoured the blogging world, I've had an encounter with Skin79 BB Creams, they say the best of its kind. So naturally that has made my wish list. But how to get it when it's a Korean product? The answer is simple: online.

So off I went to my most beloved online site for searching hidden treasures, Ebay! I was planning on getting a sachet or squeeze tube sample, because they're cheaper and just a way not to commit too much to this product, but then I found this! A 15g pump cannister type, and it was only P375! I was so in love! Skin79's BB Creams has very adorable packaging, and getting this canister type in a mini version and mini price ;) is like truly finding a treasure.

And so, you guessed it. I bought it. :D

It is thinner than the 40g canister, but not shorter (I'm assuming). It still has this beautiful trademark pump that we all love from Skin79's BB Creams.

The description on the back is actually in english. (Most of it) This product's triple functions are:

  • Whitening
  • UV Protection SPF25 PA++
  • Wrinkle free

Love the UV protection. As for the whitening aspect, I can't really tell. I'm a little fairer than a medium skintone, and I'm not too keen with making myself fairer. Smoother, clearer skinned, perhaps. But not whiter. And I could say, it didn't whiten me much that I would notice.

Wrinkle free. Yep, didn't notice as well. I only have one small wrinkle between my brows, and sometimes it shows, sometimes it doesn't. I just really try not to frown too much, which usually happens when I squint under the sun, or pissed, or being in front of the computer too long. :D

What I have to love about this BB Cream is that it feels lightweight on the skin. And it could look as if you have nothing on, but your skin looks more supple and radiant.

Being as this is lightweight, it doesn't have high coverage on spots you wanna cover up. It is still best to apply concealer if you have something to hide. ;)

Swatches:

  1. Pump.
  2. Spread.
  3. Blend.
I am happier with this BB Cream than the one I previously had. It was Maybelline and it greased me up like I am trying to produce oil for this country.

The Seller:

Beauty and the Vape, the Ebay seller, guarantee authenticity of her products. She is selling Korean beauty products, like Skin79, Lioele, Tony Moly, Etude House and Missha. Check her store out.

Let me review with you two of my favorite lipsticks right now. They're from a brand called Sophie Paris. I am a dealer, but I have only tried these two recently because I have been using a Koshize color that they've recently just phased out.

This Kluge line is so cute, probably marketed to teenagers, that is probably why I didn't check them out at first. The packaging is so adorable. Pink transparent plastic cap reveals the color of the lipstick and the metal holding it.

There is a Kluge logo on the cap, in fuschia and an adorable script font, and it is bordered by swirls forming a cute heart. I love the cap. It doesn't look like a typical lipstick packaging.

These are the two colors I love, Candy Peach and Smooth Rosewood. Well, the names say it, Candy Peach is a pale peach color, while Smooth Rosewood is a nice rose pink color.

Swatches

That's with two coats of lipstick. The lipsticks aren't very pigmented so the first swipe doesn't really show well on camera. It does look nice already on the lips, but girls who wants a full on color could always apply more. As for me, I don't like a thick lipstick application where it looks unnatural, that's why this works for me. It is a little drying though, so it is best if you apply a lip balm prior to application.

The colors look yummy on my skin, and there are more yummy colors to choose from. Candy Peach reminds me of cotton candy. As for the scent, it has a scent that I can't place. It's okay though, not very distracting and perfumy.

This is only priced at P120. Very inexpensive. You can buy them from a Sophie Paris dealer near you or online.

Yummy colors to choose from.

So, have you tried Sophie Paris Kluge lipsticks yet? What are your thoughts about it? Are you willing to try it out if you haven't yet? :)

Long hair is a girl's crowning glory and sometimes we get a haircut that doesn't suit us. What to do? Grow our hair long, of course. But sometimes that could take months before we see a difference in our hair length.

This is a problem my brother went through when he got an awful butchered haircut at a barbershop. He brought an expensive hair regrowth and hair loss treatment but got scared when he read all the chemicals stated on the packaging. It sounded more of a treatment / medicine for balding peeps. So I introduced him to Sophie Paris Glamorous shampoo. It's also a hair loss treatment but it's milder and less expensive.

There are 5 benefits for using this product:
  • To speed up hair growth with regular use
  • Effective in reducing hair loss
  • Improves health of your scalp
  • Strengthens and makes hair look thicker
  • With maximum hair care, makes your hair strong and healthy

And after just a month my brother could actually see a difference in his hair length. And he said his hair has become thicker than it used to.

It's a steal for only Php160 for 200ml. That's around 4.00 USD.

I have used this as well, when I ran out of shampoo. Hehe. I did see a faster hair growth, because my hair really grows really slow, it's like taking forever to grow them out sometimes. What I don't like about this is the smell. Maybe it's the kukui nut ingredient. I'm used to floral or fruity scents, and this scent doesn't belong to any of those. It doesn't even smell like perfume, but I don't like those anyway.

And also, I think I'm getting dandruff because of this. But I'm not sure, as I easily get dandruff because of my oily scalp.
